Principle

The principle of the screw sedimentation centrifuge is that the sludge compound enters the drum through the feeding pipe and the screw feeding port. Under the centripetal force effect caused by the high-speed operation of the server, a large proportion of solid particles accumulate on the inner cavity of the drum. The spiral leaves that move at a relative speed to the drum continuously scrape off the solid particles accumulated on the inner cavity of the drum and release them to the sludge discharge port. The separated fermentation liquid is discharged from the drum through the opening of the weir plate.

The relative speed between the screw and the drum is accomplished by the transfer case. The casing of the transfer case is connected to the drum, the output shaft is connected to the screw, and the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor. The main motor not only drives the drum to rotate but also rotates the transfer case casing. As the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor, the auxiliary motor generates shaft load, which in turn drives the large planetary gears to operate in accordance with the designed transmission system and transmits the torque to the screw in a certain proportion, thus completing the continuous separation of raw materials by the screw sedimentation centrifuge.
