During the operation of the screw sedimentation centrifuge, it can be used to carry out centrifugal sedimentation on two or three heterogeneous liquid-solid materials with different densities. In the operation of a screw sedimentation centrifuge, the main motor usually drives two pulleys to rotate together. Through gears or cycloidal pinwheel transfer cases, they respectively drive the drum and the screw, and maintain a fixed relative differential number of revolutions between the two. This equipment needs to be separated at high speed.
To a certain extent, in order to ensure the ideal separation effect of the spiral sedimentation centrifuge, if one wants to ensure the self-balance of the equipment, it is necessary to balance the centrifuge tubes and their contents. In fact, the rotor of an ultracentrifuge is embedded in a very thin shaft. Therefore, when two centrifuge tubes are balanced, the difference in net weight must not exceed the range specified on the labels of various centrifuges.
The difference in net weight between two centrifuge tubes of a preparative ultracentrifuge should not exceed 0.1g. Centrifuge tubes with sleeves should be balanced together with the sleeves. Centrifuge tube sleeves must not be mixed between different centrifuges. After reaching the equilibrium condition, when adding materials, balance should also be maintained to prevent the centrifugal shaft from being damaged by different centrifugal forces and causing major accidents. After the balanced centrifuge tubes are symmetrically placed, cover the screw sedimentation centrifuge lid, turn on the power, and set the centrifuge speed and the centrifugal speed.
When the separation setting time is approaching, it is necessary to promptly turn on the speed reduction or speed adjustment knob to reduce the speed. After the screw sedimentation centrifuge naturally stops rolling, open the lid and take out the centrifuge tubes. Turn off the power supply and unplug the power cord. Clean the centrifuge, centrifuge chamber, centrifuge tubes, sleeves, etc.
The spiral sedimentation centrifuge is also equipped with an automatic control operating system. After setting the centrifugation rate, centrifugation time, temperature, vacuum value and other data, turn on the switch and the equipment will operate automatically. After the main parameters are reached, record the time. Once the set time is reached, the screw sedimentation centrifuge will automatically shut down and the deceleration equipment will automatically start.
