The screw sedimentation centrifuge is a device that feeds the sludge mixture through the feeding pipe and the screw discharge port into the drum. Under the influence of the centripetal force generated by the high-speed operation of the main machine, a relatively large proportion of solid particles deposit on the inner wall of the drum. The spiral leaves moving relatively to the drum continuously scrape off the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum and release them to the sludge cleaning port. The separated clear liquid flows out of the drum through the opening of the weir plate.
The working principle of the screw sedimentation centrifuge is as follows: The sludge mixture enters the drum through the feeding pipe and the screw discharge port. The relative speed between the screw and the drum is achieved by the transfer case. The casing of the transfer case is connected to the drum, the output shaft is connected to the screw, and the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor. While the main motor drives the drum to rotate, it also drives the rotation of the transfer case casing. As the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor, the auxiliary motor generates a braking torque, which in turn drives the planetary gears to operate according to the customized transmission correlation and transmits the torque to the screw in a certain proportional relationship, thus completing the continuous separation of materials by the screw sedimentation centrifuge.
